Jessica Birth Doula
“Giving birth should be your greatest achievement not your greatest fear.” ~ Jane Weideman
My birth doula labor support services provide support from the first phone call to well after the birth of your baby(ies)! As a childbirth educator and midwifery student, I have a wealth of knowledge about childbirth and pregnancy, as well as my 14 years of experience serving women and families and my 15 years as a mother to 6 children. My goal is to be the comfort you need in pregnancy, birth and postpartum helping you figure out your hopes and how to meet your needs. I love to empower women through knowledge and encouragement. Clients speak about how confident and knowledgeable they feel after we walk through the journey of birth together. Every woman deserves the best support person for her!
My doula services includes 24/7 support by email/text/phone from the time you pay your deposit to 6 weeks postpartum, a prenatal homevisit, labor assistance in the home and at the birth place, and a postpartum homevisit with breastfeeding support. Additionally, I take photos at the homevisit (maternity shots), the birth and the postpartum visit (newborn/family shots) as you desire. I make video montage from the photos or just give originals to the clients depending on their preference. I write a birth journal of the timing of your journey and things you said along the way. It's a great keepsake!
