I have attended many homebirths with midwives. I have birthed at home 5 times personally. I received certifications in neonatal resuscitation by Karen Strange and AAP, in CPR and have completed the Midwives Assistant Orientation course with a MEAC accredited midwifery school in the event of an emergency.
I specialize in helping couples who want to birth naturally without unnecessary medications or interventions. My low-risk vaginal birthing doula clients have more than a 90% unmedicated birth rate. My hospital VBAC clients have a 98% success rate.
Providing counter pressure to relieve low back pain in late active labor.
Providing counter pressure even when lying in the hospital bed. I also teach clients various positions in the bed, on a birthing ball, toilet, standing, etc... to use in labor and provide counter pressure, massage or heat as needed.
